M55 needs Timing adapter

Currently, NPU has timing adapter support but M55 doesn’t. It is needed to add the support to M55 so M55 access SRAM and flash can be simulated/emulated.

Hi @Kaipingli88,

That’s correct, the NPU timing adapter enables the bandwidth and latency sweeps but CPU sits outside. There is no timing adapter around the CPU, and there are no plans to make this available in any hardware implementation. So, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this in the software (in ML Embedded Eval Kit) to provision such simulations for the CPU. But your point is noted, and we will communicate this to the respective teams.
